New Video

It's a long one but very cute and funny.

Life with a 14 month old!

Everyday life with Zoe gets more and more interesting.  (I know that seems obvious).

Lately, her thing has been leaving things in the kitchen/washing machine.

I have found blocks, pacifiers, stuffed animals, and sippy cups in our washing machine.  One night I could NOT find the pacifier she had had all day long ... I took her to bed with a different one.  The next morning I'm making her breakfast in the kitchen and she just walks right up to the washing machine and pulls out the pacifier like she had put it there on purpose for safe keeping and was just coming back for it.  Hilarious.

She enjoys spinning in circles.  Makes me dizzy just watching her.  She LOVES baby dolls and stuffed animals.  She HUGS every single one of them.

She loves carbs ... (Don't know where she gets that from!)  She will gladly eat bread, rolls, or potatoes, but getting her to eat meat can be challenging sometimes.  (Again, don't know where she gets that! HA!)

When I workout in the morning she usually looks at me like I'm crazy at first but after a while she'll start dancing to the music that's playing.

She doesn't like crust on her bread or the skin on her apples.

Okay let's just face it ... She looks like her daddy but as her momma's personality.  Oh boy.

Oh and Tony and I have decided that Grandpa has jinxed us .. He started calling Zoe his little "Tornado" from DAY 1 and honestly she is.  She is a little Tornado.  How'd he know?!  :)

Reading cook books can be exhausting!

I came out of the kitchen to find Zoe laying on the floor flipping through a cook book.

We're BACK!

Where did we go you ask?  No where really.  Our computer just died for a bit so we didn't have a lot of internet access.  But we're finally back up and running!!  Thank goodness for my limited Facebook access on my phone or I would have surely gone crazy!!

Friday Zoe and I took Tony to work so we could bum around town.  Then we picked him up and had dinner out.

I ended up getting up to the station a bit before Tony was actually off, so we had to wait a while.

Zoe flat refused to look at the camera!  Don't you love the smile on her face?  She knows what I want her to do, but she won't do it and she thinks that's funny.  :)

This would have made a great video-but I don't have video capabilities on my phone.  Tony was putting stuff back in the live truck and we happened to be parked right behind it so Zoe could see Tony working.  But he had to go back in the station so Zoe couldn't see him anymore ... She stood there and just YELLED "DADDY!  DADDY! DADDY!"  It was pretty funny.  Hopefully it didn't disturb anyone inside the building!

Tony finally got off work and we went out for a little pizza.  It had been really nice out that day but by the afternoon/evening it was a bit cloudy and windy again.  But there wasn't any room inside so we ate outside.

Eventually Zoe got a little upset.  It was a little bit after her normal dinner time so she was tired of waiting.  When she gets hungry it's very much a "FEED ME NOW OR ELSE" situation, as you can see by this slight meltdown.

Luckily our food arrived shortly after the initial meltdown!

Here's a random picture I took of Zoe and I cooking dinner.  Yes, I've had to cook dinner lately.  :)

This picture just cracked me up.  Savannah had been playing with Zoe's baby doll and I guess she was bad because she got put in the corner for a time out!!  I love hearing her play .. It brings back memories of the things I used to imagine and play at her age.  Such fun!

Dress up!

She got a hold of my shirt and decided to play dress up I guess ...

They call it a bouncy seat for a reason ....

GROWING so FAST!

Do you remember when Zoe was this small?

The time really does fly by ...

Last night I was holding Zoe and I looked at Tony and I said "I think she had a growth spurt today .. She looks so big!"  He agreed.

I've been able to finagle a very small ponytail with Zoe's limited amount of hair.  Here she is on Mother's day weekend ...

Yesterday, the weather was GORGEOUS!  SUNNY!!!  And warm!!  (I think in the 60's which is warm for us!)  Just perfect weather.  Not too hot.  Not too cold.

If there's any opportunity for me to take the girls to the park, I take full advantage.  These sunny days seem to be few and far between.  Tony was off yesterday so we made it a family event!

The park is really nice ... In the summer time it's where our Church does Vacation Bible School.  It's in a great neighborhood and it's maybe a 5 minute drive from our house.

Half of the park is in sand and the other half bark dust.  We usually play in the sand area.  Savannah loves making sand pies and cookies and Zoe just loves squishing the sand between her hands.

Days like this one make us long for summer!
